WMXP-LP/95.5 FM & MALCOLM X CENTER - GRASSROOTS MVMT invites you to join the fun, food, music, dance, sales, and exhibits of goods and services at the 2021 Malcolm X Festival in Cleveland Park, Greenville, SC on May 16, 2021, from 2 PM to 7 PM;  RAIN DATE: May 23, 2021.THE FESTIVAL FEATURES Food, live music, dance, martial arts, exhibits, children's activities, art and merchandise of all kinds. You and your organization are cordially invited to help us fly our colors, wave our flag, and fund community programs. You may set up a booth or table to display and sell goods. Fees: 1/2 Deposits by May 3,2021, Full Fee payable on or before May 15,2021. This is the annual Malcolm X Center for Self Determination / WMXP-LP (95.5fm) annual fundraiser. The Malcolm X Center and WMXP-LP/95.5FM are community owned, funded, non-profit, grassroots, volunteer operated community human rights resources. Sponsorship opportunity will allow you to target a diverse audience of more than 90,000 people with 2 to 3 generations of all ages. Our children are bright! They may be able to gain interest and support from neighbors, friends, and investors that can make their ideas and goals their reality. It is also a great way for them to learn early how to network and build a wealth of resources with each other and within the community. You know what they say- "it's not all about what you know, but who you know." Parents/Guardians are responsible for making sure children are supervised by an adult. 10" x 10" Spaces assigned by payment order. Vendor provides own tables, tents, equipment, generators for electricity, etc. Fire extinguisher and grease disposal plan required for food vendors. Set up time begins at 10am and ends at 1pm. Vehicles will not be allowed in the festival area after 1pm so please come on time so that you may unload conveniently. Breakdown begins at festival end time. Food vendors will need to stop all fryers and grills in enough time to meet the same conditions and have their booth broken down and packed up by 9pm.
